What can cause knee pain?

The knee of the human body is consists of different bones, ligaments, and cartilages. Gout

Although this condition is not as common in the knee as osteoarthritis, it is caused by an excess amount of uric acid crystals which irritates the knee joint. Treatment usually involves a change in diet and using anti-inflammatory medications like Voltaren or Celebrex. If the condition gets too severe then cortisone is injected into the joint to stop inflammation.

Things to take into account

The timing and duration of the knee pain vary. If you experience knee pain while going down the stairs, it is an indicator of chondromalacia and other knee cap problems. On the other hand, if you experience knee pain early in the morning then it is an indicator that you are suffering from early arthritis.

When there is a knee-related problem, mobility is greatly affected. The knees become swollen as the days go by and this can actually result in a more intense pain.
